Movie News: Some Jokers Are Putting Red Balloons On Storm Grates

The new It movie is upon us soon and, surprisingly, it isn’t that terrible. Stephen King’s recent book adaptations haven’t exactly been the best, so people have been deservedly sceptical about the recent reboot of the classic creepy clown epic. The original movie was a classic and people have been fans of Pennywise and his antics for a long time now. In preparation for the movie, some enterprising pranksters have felt it appropriate to scare the living daylights out of police officers.

The Lititz Borough Police Department posted on their Facebook that some jokers have placed red balloons on the storm grates. If you’re not familiar, that’s the method Pennywise uses to lure unsuspecting victims. Here’s the post:

A little bit of a giggle. The hype is strong for the new It movie and it’s nice to see some real-world crossover from fans. We can also expect some more creepy clown sightings in the future. People have zero restraint.
